LETRA DE "Broken Halos - Chris Stapleton"
Seen my share of
Broken halos
Folded wings that used to fly
They've all gone
Wherever they go
Broken halos that used to shine
Angels come down
From the heavens
Just to help us on our way
Come to teach us
Then they leave us
And they find some other soul to save
Seen my share of
Broken halos
Folded wings that used to fly
They've all gone
Wherever they go
Broken halos that used to shine
Broken halos that used to shine
Don't go looking
For the reasons
Don't go asking
Jesus why?
We're not meant to know the answers
They belong to the by and by
They belong to the by and by
Seen my share of
Broken halos
Folded wings that used to fly
They've all gone
Wherever they go
Broken halos that used to shine
Broken halos that used to shine
Broken halos that used to shine
Broken halos that used to shine

Esta canción "Broken Halos" del artista Chris Stapleton se estrenó el , tiene una duración de 180.906 segundos.
Broken Halos is the first single that has been released from Stapleton’s From A Room and also the first song on the album.\n\nChris wrote it with Michael (Mike) Henderson and told Rolling Stone Magazine in an interview why it was important for him to include it on the album:\n\nI wrote that song with my dear friend Mike Henderson, with whom I probably wrote more songs than anyone who is a co-writer of mine. I didn’t include any songs I’d written with him on Traveller, so it was really important to me … to cut songs from some of the guys who helped me learn how to write songs, and Mike is one of those guys.\n\nBroken Halos is a song about people close to us who pass away. At his concert at the Ryman Auditorium in February 2017, Stapleton introduced the song by noting that he wrote it on the day a childhood friend passed away from pancreatic cancer at the age of 37.\n\nThe song won a Grammy for Best Country Song at the 2018 Grammys held on Jan. 28, 2018.
